But one interpretation of "Freedom And Belonging" is about our hero, who feels like an outcast, an outsider. That they are not part of the clique. And that hurts. It hurts deeply, cutting in to their soul!
The song lyric; "the Snow is Burning, Burning, Burning" is a reflection of the ice cold glares he feels, burning their soul, like a flame thrower. They spend their life, not daring to look up from the ground, as just one more hate gaze, would finish them.
